Soft play alone...

What's peoples opinions on what age would be okay to let your dc go off and play alone in soft play?

Given it's a soft play that they can't get out of and you're sitting at the table inside too so they know where you are and you can still see them (ish).

I've always been under the impression as soon as my ds was capable that I'd let him go off on his own, he turns 2 in 2 weeks and he's capable, I just don't know if I should still be monitoring him in there!

My son will be three next week and I let him go in alone for the first time at the weekend. I was watching him like a hawk from the outside though. He was pissing about in the ball pit and one of the flailing balls caught a bigger kids face. The bigger kid then smacked DS square in the face. DS looked a bit shocked but clearly decided he wouldn’t win that fight and moved away.

So my answer is: as soon as your son can take a punch to the face.

I though my 2.5yo would be alright on his own when we went on a Friday afternoon. I hadn't heard from him for a minute or so and went in to find him a metre up some rigging saying to himself 'I'm a big boy now'. I got him out of there after that
