DS 15+ weeks. Weather wet, out for afew hours each day to groups or with friends, visiting family etc.

Find the days are becoming very long indeed. Trying to loseweight but so bored at home and can't get out becauseof the weather it is becoming impossible.

What does everyone else do?? Far from being rushed off my feet was busier at work.

Cupcake - all that reading and Radio 4 time - I really miss that - and dd is only 25 weeks!
But I'm back at work now. I would say that learning a cuisine (Cantonese) really helped as did attempting to refresh learn my German (didn't keep it up, but it was worth doing and fun at the time). DH (SAHD) has taken up learning how to play on a keyboard so that he can entertain dd when older and adapting Abba songs, such as Pooing Me, Pooing You and Like a Super Puker...
The lack of adult company and the need for something, anything, non-baby related can be overwhelming at times, much as you love your dc. But it gets better, it really does, particularly when your dc really starts responding to you and the personality starts coming through.
Joining a gym is a waste of money IMO though - particularly when you you have a baby you can walk everywhere with, but good luck with the weight loss, however you choose to do it - I put on weight when I went back to work.
