How did it present itself at the age of 3/4? How did you get a diagnosis and how did you know to ask for one? Thank you.

@Rosebud1302 my daughter started being scared of loud noises when she was about 2, hand dryers are a huge issue if we are out and i cant hoover unless she wears ear defenders (or as she calls them now ear offenders) i mentioned it to the health visitor who said its likely an over responsive auditory system….

@Vittoria123 hi! My son has just turned 6 and is soon to go into year 2 at school. He no longer has issues with any loud or sudden noises and to me now has no other issues that I previously saw linked to SPD. He is still "sensitive" in some regards but vastly different and more confident by the bucket load to when I posted this.
