Toddler who walks on tiptoes

My toddler loves walking on tiptoes! I’m not terribly concerned as he can walk normally and doesn’t seem to have any mobility issues, but whenever he’s excited or playing he runs around on tiptoes and I’ve not noticed any other little kids do this 🤦‍♀️I have to be really careful to cut his nails frequently because they’ll go inwards if not because of him doing this! He’s 2 and a half.

has anyone else noticed similar?

He’s diagnosed autistic now. Looking back there was so much stuff that I got fobbed off with! Tip toes were such a tiny part of it! Trust your gut.

How are you doing OP since his diagnosis? Looking back on the thread it seemed to come as a surprise to you how many posters suggested it might be a sign of autism. Hope you and your son are doing well
