Sons father not bringing son home

Hi, there is a court order in place that my DS sees his father on certain days/times and we split all holidays/special occasions.

As it's Easter holidays my DS was meant to go to his dads on 8th April for 1 week and then come home to me for 1 week for the remainder of the Easter holidays.

My DS was due to come back yesterday but his father has said he wanted to keep him an extra day so I agreed...
I asked him to bring him back at 3pm today so I can spend Atleast some of Easter Monday with my DS which his dad refused and said he will bring him home whenever he feels like it.

He has now blackmailed me and told me he wants joint custody and to not follow the court order anymore as he has a new job he wants my DS on his days off 3 days a week instead ...
and if I don't comply with what he's asking for he has now said he will not be returning my DS until Thursday 21st which I feel like my son won't be brought back to me as he was due to come home yesterday.

Can anyone give advice on what to do please? I'm stressed out. I know the police won't help.. His father has never done this before.
I will be ringing my solicitor tomorrow first thing.

Police was my initial thought?

Can you agree to his 'demands' to at least get your son back?

Police won't do anything as Dad has PR ( apart from maybe a welfare check) ...this happens a lot....hope you get sorted OP

You go to court first thing tomorrow and file to have him returned/the current CO adhered to.
