Black poo in babies

Black poo?

Or is it really really dark green. I'm not sure.

My 7 month old has had poos this color for maybe the last 2 days. Probably maybe 3 poos that have been dark. He's is perfectly fine and happy in himself except from a little cold. These poos have been explosions.

I was going to wait and see what his nappies like tomorrow before I contact someone.

Those bowel movements are not black. I suspect you'll be told to keep an eye on them as they're probably a product of the food they are eating.

My son did this a few times after he ate blueberries (he was obsessed at one point 🤣). I was freaking out when his poo was so dark. Could it be something like that he has eaten?

Hi - sorry to resurrect an old thread but I was wondering how your little one was in the end?

My 7m old DS has just had the same very dark green-black in his nappy

is it blueberries?

DS’s nursery sometimes tell me about alarming black poo. It’s always his blueberry obsession that’s the cause.

He was in nursery yesterday but no blueberries, hasn’t had spinach or anything really green either. His tea in nursery was leek and potato soup followed by peaches, but I can’t that affecting it.
