Do you have to get a new car having 3 kids

If you have 3 under 5 do you need to get a new car to fit the seats in? Are any 3 seat cars affordable without being really old?

It probably depends on the car you have, how much you use it and for what kind of distance and if you are a 2 car family.

We didn't get a different car, but we both had a car so very local days out we just took 2 cars. It was by far cheaper then buying a bigger car. The majority of the time we walked or used the train. We are about a mile away from a train station though, so easy to walk to.

We have 3 kids who are still in car seats so we had to buy a car that could accommodate that. We needed to be able to fit a baby seat, a swivel seat for our 2 year old and a high back booster for our 5 year old.
We did some homework and spent a few Saturdays looking at 7 seaters or cars with larger capacities. We actually brought all the seats with us and my DH fitted them in the cars we looked at so we could rule in/out the cars we saw.
I really didn’t want a people carrier (some people call them nappy wagons!) for no other reason than vanity I’m afraid to say. So although I was open to anything that worked for us, we opted for a KIA Sorento which is more of a SUV. We had to come down a bit in years but I didn’t mind that.
If you’re happy with the MPV cars there are some great bargains and they definitely do the job.
