Hi guys, so my baby drinks cow milk since he was 1 he is now 1 year and 4 months and I have been giving him normal whole milk my husband has started to bring organic whole free range milk from Tesco since last week and my baby has been getting gas at night could this be the reason do I need to switch back to whole or is not that different ?

Switch back and see if it makes a difference.

It's not raw milk?

Clymene · 26/10/2021 00:21

Organic milk shouldn't make any difference to your baby's gas

I would think it's coincidence but there'd be no harm in switching back to check. I can't think of any logical reason why organic milk would make a baby gassy thiugh.

'Standard' milk comes from cows that are likely to be pregnant as well as lactating, so can contain pregnancy hormones. Organic cows are often given a rest from milking when they're pregnant, so less likely to contain pregnancy hormones.

So I would think that's the only difference, but I would have thought Organic milk would be better in terms are messing with babies digestion Hmm

Switch back and let us all know? Grin

Nope, me too 😂😂 I actually went back to check I hadn't read the title incorrectly. The joys of autocorrect I suppose.
