as I've just realised most of my recent posts where he is mentioned are all about him still being wet at night ......so

in the last 6 weeks at school he has

been one of 12 YR2 pupils (out of 60) picked to go and play at a primary schools soccer tournament

been one the 6 winners (3 from each class) of a colouring competition

Got 10/10 in all his spelling tests

and been chosen as part of their school "choir" (well they don't actually have a choir but YKWIM) to come to the church and sing at the church carol service

I'm so proud of him

What a boy!

You are right to be proud.

Go and give him a big smacker on the lips right now!

Saturn74 · 08/12/2007 11:57

Well done LittleIcePrince!

TheIceQueen · 08/12/2007 11:57

ooooooo I'm not sure he'd appreciate that - he's turning into his daddy - much more "refined" - a pat on the back, a hug and handshake is starting to become his "style" LOL

But he will like a hug anyway - they just like to pretend then don't! (DS says "oh I hate this part of the day!" when I hug him!)

Anyway - well done your DS1. Good for him.

SantasLittleToiletFlusher · 08/12/2007 11:59

Ha, yes. I have a 7 yr old who will still suffer my kisses but prefers a manly hug with a shoulder pat.

TheQueenSPeaches · 08/12/2007 12:15

LOL at "I hate this part of the day". DS is similar. If he forgets to say please, he has to give me a kiss on the cheek. He says please on a regular basis now.

IceQueen, that's fab. I'd be proud too.
