Baby acne or Cows Milk Allergy? Photos inc.

Before I begin I have sought medical advice but no doctor seems to know what they’re doing.

We thought my 6wo daughter had reflux but over time she’s had more symptoms than just vomiting feeds/watery painful vomit after feeds, she’s gassy, constipated (currently 48 hours with no poop and she’s in pain), constantly searching, chews on dummies for relief, constantly upset etc.

She broke out in what I thought was baby acne about two weeks ago but it’s steadily got worse and now is everywhere! Is it baby acne or does it look like a potential cows milk allergy? She’s formula fed.

TIA

How is your dd now op?

My dd is still on level 1 of the milk ladder. She's 4 and still allergic.

@anon37484291918 shes currently on level 2 of the milk ladder at 20 months so still allergic. She also has asthma, eczema and other food allergies too so she does have a lot to contend with bless her. However, she is FULL of energy and has the most amazing little personality so it doesn’t seem to hold her back too much.
Ive since had DD2 who is also a CMPA baby so it seems to be a genetic thing with them I think.

I think there's a genetic link with babies born after the milk allergy baby. I had ds first and he's got no allergies but dd has multiple allergies. Eczema can be linked to the food allergies. Dd also has it.

Glad to hear she's on level 2. I hope to get dd to that level soon enough.

@anon37484291918 shes had two episodes of being admitted to HDU with brochiollitis and has a persistent wheeze which triggered her diagnosis. We’re under the paediatric allergist at the hospital who prescribes her inhalers/eczema emollients for us.
