What has helped your toddlers who hit and pull your hair

My 2 year old has been hitting me a lot recently and also pulling my hair out angrily
, he often does it when he is frustrated which happens a lot at the moment because he is 2 and tantrums are happening a lot . I try to avoid certain situations that will lead to him to hit and I’m consistent with being firm and give him time out on the naughty step but It’s not helped one bit. I’ve been hit more times today than I can count and had him trying to pull at my hair as well. Can anyone share any advise that has helped them if they have experienced this?

Grab his wrist and hold it firmly enough so he lets go and flow with a sharp no and walk off.

He'll get the message.

I second stopping him by holding his hand. A very loud firm No, we do not hit. Walk off and ignore.
Showing your displeasure really helps.

I have to be honest and say the only thing that stopped mine pulling hair was when another kid did it to him and he realised how much it hurt. Same with biting!
