9 month old heavily relying on one arm

My 9 month old rolls only on the one side the vast majority of the time. He struggles to go from front to back on the other side. He has started a bit of a commando crawl but is only using the one side of his body (the one he rolls onto). Is this a cause for concern?

Not necessarily, but speak to your GP or health visitor as IF there is an issue early intervention can help

When my DD started commando crawling she would only favour one side too, using only 1 arm and 1 leg (I even started a thread about it 😂) - but sure enough after a few weeks she started crawling properly. But if you’re concerned, talk to your HV!

Does he use both arms to play/reach for things/feed himself?

If he does, then it's unlikely to be a problem. If he is showing consistent weakness on one side then I would make an appointment to see your GP. Film him in action so you have something to show the GP too.
