Is it too hot to take 9 month old for a walk midday?

The walk helps break up my day but it's obviously boiling outside. I'd put him a nappy and short sleeved vest. Will probably be out when it's peak heat. Not sure if this is a bad idea?

I would change the time of your walk today. I know what you mean about breaking the day up but it is really really hot. I wouldn't take myself for a walk at midday today. By 8 tonight is will be cooler.... in fact here we are forecast thunder storm this afternoon....that may cool things down a bit.

I would. Put some sunscreen on him though

As long as you can provide nearly complete shade in the form of a pram hood and parasol or sun shade (don't cover/shade with a blanket) then it's absolutely fine. Dc were born abroad and I took them out daily whatever the weather no matter the time of day.

I wouldn’t at midday no. I take mine out first thing and then after dinner in the evening when it’s cooler if it’s a hot day

I would, but baby would need to be in full shade with air flow achieved as you move.

Tshirt is better than a vest that clings on hot and sweaty
