6 year old still awake at 10pm - AIBU to be annoyed

Dp takes 6 year old dd to bed at 8pm. Watching TV, laughing, singing and it's almost 10pm. Granted it is half term here so no school tomorrow but I am a stickler for more routine, so I get really annoyed with DP for being so late for dd.

It sounds like they're having a nice time tbh. My 8 yo should really be in bed earlier than she is but due to the lighter evenings she can be awake but in bed past 9pm sometimes. I guess if you're DP doesn't mind it's nice for them to spend time together. It's hard when you just want to relax though.

It's half term, what's your problem? It's nice to relax and throw the rules out of the window every once in a while.
