Stressed out - 14 month old living on toast and fruit!

My little girl has been a wonderful eater right from when we started weaning. She would eat any kind of pasta dish, curries, risotto, a roast dinner etc... Until 2 weeks ago! She now takes a couple of mouthfuls and then gets annoyed and won't eat any more, unless it's toast or fruit, or sometimes a yogurt. She usually feeds herself but spoon feeding isn't working either. I'm starting to worry a bit. Is this likely to pass, and what should I do?

Ahh they all go through the beige food years! Just offer different things with the toast...
beans
Cheese
Nut butter
Cucumber
Tomatoes etc

I think they go through a phase of not wanting food all mixed up like pasta etc

Get one of those plates with sections and give a variety of things in each section

Mine went through this.
Just keep offering other foods on her plate, everyday, even if it just gets chucked on the floor give her the option. She will eventually try them

Mine does this when he is teething and only thing he will eat is weetabix. It does pass once the tooth is up!

Sounds like a totally normal toddler diet :o don't worry!

If she wants toast, have you tried her with toast fingers and dips, or a dippy egg?
