Baby is snuffly at night but no cold - dust allergy?

Hi everyone. Hoping for some wisdom on this.
My 10 week old has always been a nightmare from 2.30am onwards, when she needs settling every 10 minutes. I've realised that this is also the time when she gets snuffly, even though she doesn't have a cold (she got over that 3 weeks ago).

Is this a baby thing she'll hopefully grow out of (and therefore there's light at the end of the tunnel)? Or dust allergy or something?

I think this is just a phase most babies seem to go through, mine certainly did! I found the calpol plug in decongestant thing quite good on particularly snuffly nights. Think it's 3months+.
Try keeping the air moist near where baby sleeps, a diffuser of water or something. And sterimar fine spray can be used from birth

Could be but small babies are often a bit snuffly and sneeze to clear their noses.

Young babies are generally snuffly at night times. Both mine were.
If they have no other symptoms I wouldn't worry.

My DS was like this and had mucus in his nose for what seemed like months after birth!

As others have said, it's quite normal but a stermar nasal spray pre bedtime used to work and we also used a hot air humidifier. Calpol plug ins are also amazing but quite pricey (and I'm not sure of the age range so worth checking first)

It will clear eventually

My DD was like that, so stuffy especially at night and it was down to reflux. Could be that if she has any other symptoms?

Thanks, everyone. You've given me some hope! Fingers crossed it's just one of those weird newborn things x

DD always gets stuffy overnight, I just put it down to dry air.

Mine was same. I found the heating coming on made it worse. She was a December baby. I also put snuffle baby on a muslin and tied it to the wardrobe door above crib and that did seem to help.

I found a dehumidifier and the calpol nasal drops helped lots for my baby too.
