Feeling rather proud of my DS's this afternoon..............

DS1 (7)- came out of school with a letter, 12 pupils from yr2 (there's 60 of them altogether) have been picked to go to a mini soccer tournament on Friday during school time. He's one of them.......this is a boy who was a "late" developer and when younger wasn't good at "active" things (climbing frames, running, general co-ordination with any shape of ball etc etc).

DS2 (4 in 2 weeks time) - They had their Autumn walk at Nursery this morning, so was tired from that, I then walked him all the way across town to get DS3 weighed and meet up with a friend for coffee. It was pretty cold on the way there......and we had to walk fast on the way back (so I wasn't late to get DS1 from school.....again ) and didn't complain once.

DS3 (5 1/2 months) - had a horrendous night/early morning with him.....but just had him weighed and he's 20lb 9oz (9.34kg for those of you that do metric ) - not bad for a 7lb 6oz (at birth) baby......and an impromptu measure at friend's house revealed he was approx 74cm........which puts him off the top of the charts (I know I know I know - they're a load of old rubbish - but I still like looking ).

There - I feel better now - feel free to brag away about your own children

Nice to have "happy mummy" moments isn't it?

Yes - especially when I was feeling so rotten this morning, DS3 just wasn't himself at all, wouldn't/couldn't settle - DH was up with him from 2.30-4, then I took over and I've been awake since then. He kept screaming inconsolably on and off and I felt awful that I couldn't do anything to help him.
