Today I came back from picking my baby up from nursery. At the garages in front of my property the landlord for another property nearby was doing some work I said hello to him but my other neighbours-who I’ve never spoken to before- responded and came over to me. He asked about the baby, said he lived next door and if I ever needed anything I could knock.
I moved into this property on 08/03 and not really keen on interacting with them. They are an older middle aged couple and I have seen the wife snooping over the hedges looking into my garden.
I can’t work if it’s curiosity and I’m over reacting. When I see the wife alone she gives me a sharp look and has even crossed the road instead of walking past.
Her husband asked if he could take a photo of my two month old baby!!! I paused he already had his phone out and I said to send it to who!?
He said ‘my Mrs’ she will love to see him.
I have asked friends and family some have said I may be over reacting or he might post the pictures online. I’m worried as I do share photos of my baby through social media but have never had an invasion of privacy like this with a neighbour being so forward.
How would you react?
