Gloopy breast milk after starting to take soy lecithin

I’ve been having an issue with recurrent clogged ducts in alternating breasts while feeding my 4 month old. The issue started around a month ago, and I’ve been on antibiotics for mastitis once. Following this latest issue I decided to start taking soy lecithin to see if it would help prevent the clogs. I’ve been expressing a couple of feeds a day and am getting some really big gloopy bits of milk coming through! Not like the stringy congealed milk that I’ve had before from a clogged duct clearing, but proper big wet clumps! Is this just the milk clearing or is does the soy lecithin change your milk consistency in this way? I was expecting it to be more watery in texture. Only been taking it a couple of days but I’d like to hear others experiences.

Baby feeding fine from it so far when not expressing. Thanks for any advice!

Sounds like mastis. Go and speak to a GP
