Where can I buy shoes that DS can't take off?

All the pre-walker and early shoes I can find have velcro fastenings and he keeps taking them off and hurling them out of the buggy. Where can I find shoes with buckles or (God forbid) laces? He's 13 months, toddling and has big feet (size 5 1/2 at the last check).

Start-rite. £££ but they make proper old fashioned shoes with buckles. V cute on tinies.

We had start-rite ones with buckles last year. They were very cute and ds2 couldn't remove them.

Aha. We are visiting MIL and she has a start-rite near her. DS is one shoe down atm
