He has been going since 9 months old and has always loved it, runs in excited and I don’t generally even get a ‘bye’. Every morning this week he has clung to my legs and had a bit of a protest and cry when I go to leave him. This is breaking my heart! He seems fine shortly after but I don’t understand the change. Nothing really changed in his life otherwise recently, I’m due DC2 very soon but that’s obviously not a new thing this week...has this happened to anyone else? Should I be worried?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I would take a fair guess that it’s the baby coming even though it’s not a new thing children are effected at different points. My DD started crying when I dropped her to her nursery when I was pregnant and I got really worried that something was wrong there but looking back I’m sure it was related to my pregnancy. She was very upset going in the first few times after I had DS as she didn’t want to leave me but once she got used to it all she was fine
