Anyone else's lo completely lost their carrot red hair?

I'm so confused. So my lo was born with dark hair then it went red like carrot red his now 9 months and almost all the red has now gone? Has this happened to anyone else? At 6 months he literally was fire red

My DD was born with red curly hair.

She's 4 now and it's white blonde and really straight.

Yes, my daughter was born with a shock of red hair and now it's almost completely blonde at 19 months. It just happened progressively, but very much from about 9 months onward.

In some lights you could probably claim it's strawberry blonde, but not red anymore. I was the same as a baby though, so I was expecting it. My hair went from red to blonde to dark brown by the time I was about 12 or 13.
