Would you give this recipe to a 9 month old?

I was going to make these for my DS, who is 9 months old, but then spotted that it’s in the 12 months plus section in the AK website. The one thing that does concern me is that sweetcorn could potentially be a choking hazard, but I may be wrong?

What do you think?

Sweetcorn could be a choking hazard but all you need to do is mash up the corn a bit first so there are no whole kernels. And supervise when eating. Smile

I would definitely feed a 9 month old that; I’m not sure seeetcorn is much of a choking hazard as it’s so small but mash them up if it makes you more comfortable

Yes, at 9 months my dc ate everything we did. Dd2 had a great pincer grip and loved things like sweetcorn, peas, Cheerios etc from 7 months. The fritters look nice

It depends if they are used to finger food. I did blw with mine so I would give these from 6 months when they started weaning.

Thanks all, I will give them a go!
