Hi, I'd really like to meet some parents with Italian/part Italian kids as I'd love for my daughter to continue hearing Italian outside the home environment. Does anyone live near NW11 or NW10? She goes to nursery in W11 so also around there would be good :) She has just turned 2 but gets along with kids of all ages lol. Hope to hear from you soon!!

Does anyone know of any Italian / bilingual playgroups in East London?

Hi there,

Does anyone know of an Italian playgroup in/around the Putney/Fulham/Clapham/Wimbledon area? My son is 14 months and being raised bilingually and I am keen for him to socialise with other Italian babies. Unfortunately we can't attend the class at Eddie Katz on a Thursday in Wimbledon so if anyone has any other suggestions, that would be really helpful.

Also, if there are any Italian speaking mothers/nannies who would like to meet once a week in Putney, please let me know!

We're mostly based around the E17/E11 postcode and arrange regular meet ups for parents and children. Lots of Italians in my area now and we've actually just arranged some Saturday classes with an Italian teacher for our children.

Hi to anyone reading... I'm married to an Italian and we have an 18 month little one. My husband speaks to her solely in Italian but I thought it might be nice to meet other Italian parents or kids that speak Italian. Io e la mia compagna abbiamo due figli, la piu grande ha 3 anni e capisce l'Italiano ma non lo parla perchè passa la maggior parte del tempo con mamme e amici non-italiani.

Quando è il primo playgroup nel 2017? Ci piacerebbe provare.

Ciao, per chi ancora sta cercando playgroup italiani in South East London, appuntamento ogni venerdì mattina al Greenwich Centre dalle 10 alle 10.50: ci troviamo con mamme, papà e bimbi italiani e bilingue per cantare, giocare e leggere storie in italiano. Vi aspettiamo!

There's a new Italian playgroup running every Friday morning (10am-10.50am) at the Greenwich Centre (12 Lambarde Square, SE10 9HB). We sing Italian rhymes, read stories and play together to let our kids practicing our beautiful language.

Ciao a tutti, Io sn una futura mamma e partorirò a novembre. Io sn italiana e mio marito è cinese e ci siamo trasferiti da qualche mese vicino a Epsom. Mi chiedevo se c'è qualche gruppo di mamme italiane in zona o almeno qualche mamma italiana che vorrebbe socializzare anche solo per un caffè. Mi piacerebbe tanto che il mio bambino fosse a contatto con italiani per imparare la lingua ed avvicinarsi alla cultura italiana il più possibile fin da piccolo, inoltre sarebbe bello anche per me conoscere altre mamme della mia stessa nazionalità.

Ideally at the weekend (prefer Sunday).
