He's 5 months and the reason I asked is a few ppl have said he looks older so I was just curious

I think it depends on peoples experiences. My friend had a tiny girl baby who was only 3lb when she was born, she was forever telling me my son looked older than he was. The fact he was 8lb 10 when he was born never seemed to occur to her as a reason for the difference.

I would say under 6 months because he can’t sit independently.
