Cradle cap question

Hi all!
My baby has cradle cap on his head and mostly on his forehead 😭
I already know to wash his hair everyday, baby oil and a soft brush to get it off, but I wanted to know how often can you use the brush? Every day? Every other day?
I didn't want to overdo it and make his head sore as it's not all off yet.
Many thanks

Yes dentinox shampoo worked well with my little boy. It cleared up quite quickly.

I cant rate dentinox shampoo highly enough. We had used around half the bottle and dds cradle cap had disappeared.

Thank you everyone! The cradle cap is now coming all over his head as well as his forehead! I know it's harmless and it doesn't bother him but it's horrifying to look at! And the fact it's getting worse too is upsetting! 😭😭
My FIL is a pharmacist and he said olive oil over night and then shampoo off in the morning using a soft brush, every other day. So my DS has gone to bed with a puppy pad underneath his olive oil greased up head, so he doesn't stain the cot sheet!! 🤣
If that doesn't work over the course of this week then Dentinox it is!

Yes medicated shampoo. It's a medical condition so treat it with medicine.

Or, spend months fannying on uselessly with olive oil.

@BaddestDaughter

Olive oil was suggested by our pediatrician and it was incredibly effective.

lockdownpregnancy · 28/12/2020 11:02

@Aria999 @BaddestDaughter olive oil used over night and then washed his hair this morning and used a soft brush and the difference is incredible! It's still there but it's 80% better than it was! Woohoo!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
