Hi I'm in need of some help. Usually my 3yo daughter is really good with bedtime and goes to sleep peacefully. For the past week every night without fail she has been crying and screaming my name I don't go in because she refuses to let me leave and it just makes everything worse but the first time this happened after a while I went into her room and asked her what was wrong and she told me that she is scared of the dark. She has never had a problem with this and currently has a nightlight in her room. She'll settle for about 10 minutes and then she starts again. We always have a positive bedtime with a bedtime story and tucking her in and kissing her goodnight. I really don't know where this has come from all of a sudden but I don't know the solution on how to overcome it.
