So we are about to be stuck in the house with DS 2 (just turned 2) for another month. I have his puddle suit at the ready for long walks in the shite weather but quite frankly he's a runner a walks with him are rubbish and draining for both of us. Our back garden is teeny and I don't drive so limited to what we can do locally. Any ideas on what we can do at home that will keep him entertained? He gets destructive when he's bored and I'm tearing my hair out already🙄

I have a baby as well as a 2yo so anything too involved or lengthy like baking is a bit tricky.

We've just had success with biscuit decorating. You just need a packet of biscuits, some icing sugar and some toppings. We went shopping to get some bits but any sweets, chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, raisins etc that you have around would work.

My DS enjoyed helping to stir the icing mixture, then spent a happy half hour or so sat at the table sticking things on the biscuits that I had iced for him. Of course we ate some as we went along so there was something in it for me too, and I got to sit with a cup of tea for a bit Wink
