Advice for 6 year old daughter to chose kind friends

Hi,

My daughter is hanging around with a bully who bullies her and gets her into trouble.

We have spoken to the parents of the bully and would prefer it if they were not friends. However, we realise we cannot select her friends for her.

So, we would like to help her to make friends with other children who are more kind. Are there any books/games we can play to help her prioritise kindness in other children to help her make better choices?

She could try being kind herself? You could tesch her to be kind. At 6 a child whose behaviour is that of "bully" has some issues whether home or school or other.

Speak to the teachers

Labelling a 6 year old a "bully" is unkind.

My DD watched a lot of My Little Pony, it models friendship really well.
