Furious, fussy 14mo. Can teeth come out of order?

My 14mo has been out of sorts for about 2 weeks, with the last 2 days being really difficult. She has been waking and seems in pain, but is otherwise well.

She has her all 4 central incisors and 2 lateral incisors on top, (so 4 top front teeth and 2 bottom 2). So we should be due 2 more lateral incisors on the bottom but there is no sign of them, but I can see some bulging molars. Can first molars come out of order? Or am I barking up the wrong tree and her fussiness is likely not teething?

My sons teeth came in a completely random order. And he is 18 months old with all his teeth now so don't listen to the charts. He always got his teeth in batches of 4 as well!

Absolutely. Cross cutting runs in my family. My nephew had a molar already out at birth. I even met a baby the other day whose first teeth were his upper canines. He was an adorable little vampire.

They can come out of order and not necessarily in pairs.

Yes, my daughter got one lateral incisor first then the two middle bottom ones, then the central incisor next to her lateral incisor. Only now is she beginning to cut the other central incisor but she's also getting a molar too and still doesn't have the other lateral incisor. I believe although more uncommon it can be completely random.
