I remember wheedling 'just try a tiny taste', hiding veg in Annabel Karmel sauces and despairing of my dc paltry vegetable intake.
Now they are both vegetarian, and come home from their weekend jobs with a sourdough loaf desiring homemade soup or making it themselves. They practically live on avocado toast and carrot batons with homemade houmous.
And my now 17 non reading 8 year old with a visual perceptual deficit has a serious genetics and psychology book habit and is loving A Levels.
Keep at it! (Disclaimer I know non NT kids or kids with sensory difficulties or ARFID will have additional challenges). I just wanted to take a moment to remember how life changes 😊.
