So I have loooooads if photos of my little one! She is 5 months old and I have already taken THOUSANDS of photos and videos of her on my phone! I really need to try and sort them out
How should I go through them as I honestly can’t bear to delete any, i feel like I’m deleting memories and I just can’t do it!
But I do have way too many....
Any tips or advice pls???

Get cloud storage! Totally worth it.

Also, print off the best ones and stick them in an album. It's a lovely way to view photos :)

Google Photos. It’s great!

Speaking of which, I really need to sort through my photos.

Stop taking them. Well, not stop - but cut down. My oldest is now 18. I have two others. We have hundreds and hundreds of photos of them all. We hardly ever look at them and then that's usually accidentally. We're too busy having fun to be obsessing about the past.

Live in the now.

My youngest first school nativity was an eye-opener. There were a dozen or so of us parents there. All the other parents had their phones and cameras out and were filming it all. They weren't looking at their kids, being in the room and sharing the experience . They were watching their kids on screen keeping them in frame. They were being cameramen and 'making a memory'. Their kids were doing their thing, proud of their achievement, looking for approval from mummy and daddy, but all the mummies and daddies were all too busy looking at their phones to make eye contact with their children. What kind of fucking memory is that for the kids?

We have a 7 month old first child have have taken tons.

Have you got amazon prime? Not as widely known it gives access to amazon photo which is unlimited storage for pics and 5 gig for video.

Send them to the Cloud.

Annually, put together a photobook and have it printed. Cap it at 25-30 pics over the year.

Make annual wall calendars for the grandparents.

What happens when you stop having it? Do they delete them?
