Healthy start vitamin

HV said to use this from birth. We have been. I just read the label on the bottle and it says not suitable for infants consuming more than 500ml formula. HV knew she was formula feeding and feeding over this?

What do I do? Continue using it or stop? Anyone else using health start vitamin for their LO?

@dementedpixie thank you for that. I will do that.

This gp wasnt great at all. So her advice was for me to cut down on formula and focus on solids but she isnt a great eater. Also formula is way more important than solids so not sure what she was saying. I realised she had no idea about these vitamins and we were going in circles. Said thanks and bye.

(First time i spoke to this doctor)

I don't think it's a big deal if you use them or not, especially at this age, when she is probably likely to start taking less formula some time soon. And I'm not surprised that your HV and GP aren't up to speed on the fine print of giving vitamins.

Technically, your baby shouldn't need them until she is taking less than 500ml formula. Just make sure you are offering her solids before her milk, so she doesn't fill up on milk and then introduce vitamins once she is taking less than 500ml. Sounds like that will be some time soon.
