It's impossible to say from that photo. They look black, but that's just the image.

stairway · 18/06/2020 15:25

Brown

mindutopia · 18/06/2020 15:25

Eye colour can be very strange and unexpected though. Dh and I both have brown eyes (as does nearly everyone else in our families, except my mum who has blue). We have one brown eyed child and one with blue eyes.

They look dark blue to me. What colour do you think they are op?

2Kidsinatrenchcoat · 18/06/2020 15:26

Looks very dark blue to me but you’ll need a much closer photo without the bright light reflecting off his eyes for us to actually be able to see

DaisyChainsForever · 18/06/2020 15:27

Can't tell from the photo, they just look dark to me.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 18/06/2020 15:33

They look brown.

Spam88 · 18/06/2020 15:39

Can't really tell from that pic but I'd assume dark blue like most babies.

summerrain34 · 18/06/2020 16:01

Sorry maybe this is a better pic

Blue grey to me

Pascha · 18/06/2020 16:05

2nd picture they look a beautiful dark blue. They could still change though. Eye colour often doesn't settle for years.

SansaClegane · 18/06/2020 16:24

Dark grey and will likely turn brown.

SnuggyBuggy · 18/06/2020 16:27

They look grey blue to me

SoupDragon · 18/06/2020 16:27

I think he's too little for them to have settled into their proper colour.

All 3 of mine were blue or blue-grey but all are hazel or brown now.

ShyTown · 18/06/2020 16:32

They look dark blue/grey like a lot of babies but they’ll probably change.

Tsubasa1 · 18/06/2020 16:33

They look Hazel to me. Greeny brown

MalamuteLover · 18/06/2020 16:37

When do they settle? We are hazel and blue and my 2 year old is bright blue.

Iamnotacerealkiller · 18/06/2020 16:39

Both my son and daughter were born with dark grey almost black eyes and both got lighter and lighter over two years. One now has very pale blue and one pale green. Eye colour is very odd.

His eyes look dark grey/black to me. Best way to photograph them is in day light with a bit of sun (not directly obvs)

Pinkblueberry · 18/06/2020 16:40

Dark blue. I would say the kind of dark blue that eventually changes to a dark brown. I think it’s a colour fairly unique to babies, most adults don’t have dark blue eyes.

ExShield · 18/06/2020 16:41

I think they’re on their way to being brown. He’s scrumptious by the way!

SoupDragon · 18/06/2020 16:43

@MalamuteLover

When do they settle? We are hazel and blue and my 2 year old is bright blue.
I thought you would know what colour they'd be by about 2 but the actual shade may continue to change. It's been a long time since this was a question fro me though!
Iwalkinmyclothing · 18/06/2020 16:45

Dark grey/ blue, I think. Whichever colour, they are lovely and so is he!

justjessie · 18/06/2020 18:24

He's gorgeous, looks like he will have brown eyes. He has the standard undecided baby-blues for now

Spam88 · 18/06/2020 19:21

I think it's 4 they settle by.

getoffmysocks · 19/06/2020 00:59

I think brown. My 3 have blue and even at that age you could see the paler blue colour sort of cracking through. You should be able to have a pretty good guess using yours and baby's dads plus grandparents eye colour.
