Are all the doses at 8,12,16 weeks the same strength ?
I just wondered why 3 doses are needed when the others are all 2?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Every vaccination is different, presumably the current evidence says that 3 doses at those ages is the right balance of effectiveness, cost, safety, and compliance. For some vaccinations a one off is best, others it's several.
The first appointment is the tough one though as there are 3 jabs covering both legs plus a liquid, after that it's not so bad. Thank goodness they can mix the 6 together otherwise it would take all day!

They're boosters, and you need them for the vaccine to be effective.
