My baby has developed one yellowish crusty sore on his head. Is this something to be concerned of

My 3 and a half month old baby boy had a red big pimple on his head.
When we applied muciprocin to it, given to us earlier by our paeditrician, it turned yellowish crusty like this. I am applying muciprocin cream on it twice a day.

Call the doctor, or 111 if not available now. Chances are that it will be fine, but you have to be very careful with anything that might be an infection on a baby's head.
