My mum is lovely & I hope I am sometimes too

She rang to ask if we wanted to go sailing & have a picnic on their boat today (she had DD to stay last night) I said no - but take DD as I need to do some filing/housework/decorating etc

So she is insisting I come & is coming on Thursday for 2 hours to help with the filing and clean my bathroom (you know that deep clean it needs every so often)

Wow - I hope I am that nice to DD sometimes

Sounds like the sort of thing my Mum and Dad might do.
