Angelcare monitor keeps switching off

Anyone else had this? It's not a problem at the moment as baby is still in our room so I just use it when we're downstairs and it's next to me
But obviously when he goes in his own room I'll need to buy a new monitor
Peed off, bought it 2nd hand but was still pricey . Lesson learned

The Angelcare monitors are pretty bulletproof. Let's try and narrow down the issue for you - the problem could be further down the line (or wire)!

Over the years I have had an issue with the plug-in switch-mode power supply on one monitor (faulty, pulsing periodically and switching the monitor unit off), and a loose power connector on another (where it had been dropped whilst plugged in).

If it's the former, then you could find a replacement power supply of the exact same rating. If it the latter, then it's a relatively easy fix for someone with a soldering iron.

If it works consistently on battery-only, then you have narrowed the point of failure to one of those listed above, in which case good luck with your fix!
