Humidifier for baby congestion?

My now 14 week old baby is congested and has been now for weeks (7+). He's been checked by GP and his chest is clear but he's nasaly/sniffly/noisy breathing. I've tried the snot sucker, nasal drops ans spray and the snuffle baby vapour rub... Oh and the calpil vapour plug in bur he's still congested. Has anyone tried usinf humidifiers to ease congestion in babies, if so, did it help? Tia

Yes! The vicks vaporiser (its big & you fill it with water) is great. You can put little menthol pads in it too and it fills the room with steam. It’s about £70 but we have used ours every time DD (now nearly 3!) has a cold or cough & it helps massively,
