Hmm, was mid purchase and suddenly my seller disappeared as have all of her ads.... Wonder if that's the problem! Thankfully hadn't handed over any money!!!

morocco · 12/09/2007 21:03

lucky you hadn't handed over any cash then. I'm usually so trusting of washable nappy types, hard to believe anyone would rip us off

I'm in a slow mid purchase on there don't suppose any of you would care to tell me what they are/aren't selling I might be able to work out whether I will ever see my stuff! Have been on there tonight later on and it was working fine.

I've seen the bit at the top now, would really appreciate you giving me a clue as to what was being sold...

tutu100 · 13/09/2007 09:25

It says it's closed, but I've managed to get into the ads ok. Wonder what's going on. I've listed some of ds's outgrown nappies. I wondere if anyone who contacted me will get back in touch?

1dilemma · 13/09/2007 22:41

I think you can look but not add stuff! Still hoping someoen will tell me what was dodgy might be able to cancel paypal/cheque in time....

tutu100 · 13/09/2007 23:13

well it wasn't me! Unfortunately the two people who were interested in my stuff aren't anymore. I wonder if that is because now people are worried about who is a fradulent seller. It's very sad that even on a nappy site people are trying to rip others off.

Let's see what happens. Hopefully it will be reinstated soon.

moondog · 13/09/2007 23:15

I've not been on this but have an entire stock of Bambino Mios from birth to 2 all laundered and ready fpr someone else.
Would they sell?

1dilemma · 13/09/2007 23:23

I'm sure but you might have to wait a bit to sell them, (or keep them for the next one, 3 is the new 2 and all that!) people do put stuff on here sometimes but I think it easily gets lost!

moondog · 13/09/2007 23:28

Oh no more kids for me!
Why wait a bit?

canmummy · 14/09/2007 09:56

Where on earth are we supposed to sell our nappies now? I had a load listed with very little interest and I seriously don't know what to do with them.

tutu100 · 14/09/2007 14:35

i'm trying on here, but haven't really had any interest.

NAB3 · 14/09/2007 14:41

That explains why I hadn't had any response with my clwt twt nappy.

laundrylover · 14/09/2007 14:51

I noticed that Flame has a classified section on her Bumfluff site - you could ask her what trade was like and try through there....

Flamesparrow · 14/09/2007 18:05

Lots more people are adding to mine since this has happened - no idea how well things sell though because I only get a little notification thing through when something is listed rather than sold

grannyslippers · 14/09/2007 18:21

I've recently sold some nappies on MN (Thanks!) but I did have to keep bumping and cross post on Nappies and For Sale boards.

1dilemma · 14/09/2007 21:08

Moondog because the nappy lady site isn't accepting any more ads because of potentially fraudulent sellers.I never know whether to look in nappies or for sale on here!

moondog · 14/09/2007 22:10

Thanks.
I shall bide my time then.
(Anyone want to buy them?)

nappyzone · 14/09/2007 22:17

i have 3 random shaped for sale too and a motherease (there in my profile) - go on you knwo you want too.... seriously though i havent a clue what make they are as bought of ebay ages ago - to be able to identify them would be good! i have used them about 3 times! velcro gone a bit stiff.

ecobot · 14/09/2007 23:03

Funny...I answered a wanted ad on nappy lady and agreed a swap, but when it came to sending it she used a different name and said she didn't have paypal. Then I found an ad from her selling loads of nappies with, strangely, a request for funds by paypal. all a bit odd, and it all fell through anyway - glad I did now. I reckon because we all assume nappy bods are honest we are easy targets for fraudsters!

Flibbertyjibbet · 14/09/2007 23:20

(Hijack)
Moondog - havent' seen you for a bit, I got the info about the santiago de compostella from my sister for you.
Can I cat you with it, I will have to trawl back through emails from her as it was a couple of weeks ago.

I just bought something from the nappy lady ads but it was only £3. Hopefully I will get it.

I can't beleive that people are trying rip offs on that site!!

moondog · 14/09/2007 23:25

Hi Flibberty.
How very thoughtful of you to have remembered.

I am on [email protected]

Thanks!

Flibbertyjibbet · 14/09/2007 23:31
