Son wants to pursue Fortnite career!

My son has been playing Fortnite a lot more recently since last summer. This has been, I have found out, because of the Fortnite World Cup and how he was inspired to play professionally. Idk what my reaction should be to this but apparently he is quite good at the game but he plays on a laptop and he says that he could make money from the game if he gets a PC. I dont know what to do because I have been quite supportive of him playing his games (his exam grades have never dropped because of Fortnite) but idk if him wanting to pursue a gaming career is the right path?

So, what would a desktop offer that a laptop doesn’t?

Gaming PCs are a lot of money, a decent one is over a grand. How affordable is it for you? They do make a lot at the top but not many get there..

How old is he? Old enough for a part time job?

If he is 25 tell him to buy his own laptop.

If he is 10 tell him no.
