What TV shows are young boys currently into? (1-3 years old)

My sister is not too far away from having a boy and I want to get some TV show DVDs ready for him.

She already has a 4-year-old girl and she has enjoyed Peppa Pig, Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom, Bing, Charlie and Lola etc. over the past few years but I was wondering if there were anything more boy-specific that's popular at the moment?

My sons loved all the things you mentioned above. Most baby and toddler boys like exactly the same things as baby and toddler girls , because they have not yet been indoctrinated by adults that it’s wrong.

My 3 year old is obsessed with Andy's Dinosaur Adventures and Blaze and the Monster machines.

I wouldn't say any of the shows aimed at under 3s are particularly gender stereotyped.

Why spend money on DVDs when all these shows are on Netflix or BBC player?

Also 1 year olds don't really watch TV do they? My 18 month old will but probably not worth buying DVDs before they're even born? Are DVDs still even a thing?
