Party bags for 4 year olds - sorry I know it’s probably been done a million times!

Hi,

So I know that party bags can be a divisive topic but I’m looking for ideas for my sons party in January. I don’t really want throw away plastic toys or lots of sweets. Last year I did a hot wheels car, mini tub of playdoh, chocolate cupcake, bubbles and a balloon attached to the paper party bag. Can I ask you what you have done that has been successful? We will have 15 3 and 4 year olds. Many thanks.

Just a slice of cake and a small book.

Stickers, a badge and a balloon

Thanks Finfintytint, I’ve heard of people doing the book thing but we’ve never actually received one at a party we’ve been to!

Books - the book people do large collections really reasonably.

The Book People have gone bust unfortunately.

Finfintytint, I know I was so sorry to hear about the book people. I bought loads from them over the years.

How about a bag of party sweets , a little book and small amount of Lego ??

Summerdays2014 · 28/12/2019 16:37

Some great ideas! I love the idea of stickers or badges (superhero themed of course😂) Lego is a great idea too - any idea where I can buy it in cheaply in bulk? Books also great idea.
Someone suggested a little craft kit from baker ross or similar e.g make your own superhero (😂) mask. Do you think that would go down well?
Or any other superhero themed suggestions (sorry should probably have me tip Ed that particular obsession before!)

Gardening seeds or make your own baking bags are cheap useful ideas Smile

Parker231 · 28/12/2019 16:39

I did a balloon and a piece of cake to take home - everyone was happy with it.

Finfintytint · 28/12/2019 16:43

If you look at TheLittleCraftyBugs company they seem to do lots of Super hero themed party favours.

whatnow40 · 28/12/2019 16:49

The book people have gone bust?! Their online shop is still accepting orders and no hint of an issue Confused

olivehater · 28/12/2019 16:49

I’ve got lots of things from Baker Ross before. Gliders always go down well, they have different themed ones.
Just not sweety cones!
