OK, this is semi-lighthearted. Mine do this all the time, toys all over the living room, I could tidy it up in 10 minutes but why, I want him to see what they get up to, I know I'm being bloody minded but I can't be the only one who does this.

Yes. And now they are teens I leave that crap where they drop it too. It is a good habit to get into if you can bare it!

I can't wait until mine are teens, maybe they will get better at putting it away.

I've started a rule of whatever is lying on their floors at bedtime goes in the bin.

It's the only thing that's worked so far.

Good idea Jodie, (You must be the same age as me looking at your 77)I can take a photo and send it to him. The bin idea is also good, but all the Duplo on the floor is actually mine, I have to store it in her room, hoping to get an Ikea Trofast to store it on the landing soon.
