Should I tell DD (2.5) that she is leaving nursery?

I am changing DD’s nursery to a setting that place more emphasis on time outside as there are quite often days where DD doesn’t go outside at all with her current nursery (she’s there 8:30-6:30 so I think it’s important to have a change of scene and fresh air at some point in a day).

She isn’t massively attached to the staff in her current room but she does like them. She is still quite attached to the staff from her first room which she moved up from at Easter and talks about two of them quite a bit.

She finishes nursery 1 on Thursday and we are starting a gradual settling in process at Nursery 2 on Tuesday.

I’m wondering how much to talk to DD about it. Obviously I’ll be talking about the new nursery a lot positively but I’m not sure whether she’ll even really notice leaving the old nursery if I don’t discuss it with her.

Her understanding is good but she tends to forget about things once they’re gone (so for example I can take toys she rarely plays with anymore to the charity shop and she absolutely doesn’t notice).
