At last, dd has done it, it's no longer an organised fall, she is a walker!!!! she's put in a good half a mile on her own (with a few falls - or stops to dig - on the beach) but she's walking!!! Clever girl!!!! I'm going to buy her some shoes!!!! Yeah!!!!!

Well done her!

(Tho you do know that 14mo is early, don;t you? Average age is 15mo)

really??? she's the latest of the three..... I'm not bothered at her 6 week check she didn't have the 'step' reflex so I didn't expect her to be quick.... it's so cute when they start isn't it? and they don't bend their knees???!!! She thinks she's so clever ( and so do I!!!_)

Yes it's a common misconception that most babies walk by their first birthday.

My 3 were 17 mo, 14 mo and 9mo (bit of a shock that one then!)

yeah, fab haha have you got everything locked up my dd now turns telly off swipes remote and runs fills and empties my washer follows me as quick as im walking

great news. (mine didn't walk ( all three ) till they were this age, and we were surrounded by people who's little one were early walkers.
My opinion is, they can't do everything at once , and you'll probably find your little one is more forward in other ways.
Anyway by the time they reach school they are all much of a muchness in development terms.
My ds1 was slow to walk, now 7 he is the most fab footballer... so " in their own time"

really pleased for you both
