reusables with no dryer?

Hi,

I'm expecting my first baby and am trying to decide what nappies to use. My main worry is that we don't have room for a dryer in our kitchen. Is it a complete nightmare trying to get napies dry with no dryer? Also, our nursery won't accept babies with reusables so we'll have to buy some disposables anyway. Any advice would be gratefully accepted.

Would've felt wrong not to mention it though

It is some weird inbuilt thing in me.

I ask far too many questions for my own good - never forget the faces when I asked the Jehovah's Witness at work why they do door to door....

I used Motherease nappies for two and a half years with no dryer - I hung them on the line if it wasn't actually raining, and on an airer or radiators indoors if it was. As for your nursery, I don't think they can refuse to use washable nappies if that's what you want. Talk to them about it, show them how to use the nappies and give them a bucket with a tightfitting lid to put the used ones in.
