Should I let my babies nap downstairs when siblings are around

Hi all, just curious on how other families do it more than one child?
I have a 2 month old and she currently naps downstairs and I usually get her siblings to play in another room while I close the door to on my baby while she sleeps.
Do other families work like that or is it best to start putting her upstairs away from all the noise. I'm finding she gets startle with all their bagging and shouting and wakes her up, resulting in her being grumpy till the next nap time.
I don't want to start getting strict and putting her upstairs to sleep during the day and then finding she will no longer sleep anywhere else but her crib.
With my oldest I found I was very regimental and he would never sleep any where but his cot and it made life very difficult bring stuck to a routine and the whole day was surrounded by that.
