3-6 month trousers too tight for 3 month baby

Any idea where brings up the biggest size? The length is fine but waist too tight! Can't really put her in 6-9 month stuff yet bc of length!

I got some from H&M that expand like a maternity trouser, not seen them this time round but need to look! Watching this thread with interest! (DD7 and DD3mths)

Kay1341 · 15/10/2019 11:02

Can you not roll up the cuffs?

Celebelly · 15/10/2019 11:04

Yeah I just size up and roll up legs! DD has quite chunky legs so tends to outgrow trousers earlier than other bits. I also buy leggings that have a bigger range, such as 0-6 and 6-12, as we get more use out of them.

I bought a skirt for LO from Next that has an adjustable waist so presume trousers will be the same?

ceebeejeebies · 15/10/2019 11:09

We had this problem, we found some leggings in Lidl that fit well, they had a fold over stretchy top

Talcott2007 · 15/10/2019 11:11

I've always found Next and Asda's George the best for roomy sizing

ILikTheBred · 15/10/2019 11:12

I found M&S and Debenhams good for my rather rotund baby (who is now a very skinny seven-year-old!)

MsChatterbox · 15/10/2019 11:13

Just go up a size and roll up trousers/leggings. My son was always in 2 sizes bigger than his age.

AmIThough · 15/10/2019 11:18

@Talcott2007 really? I've also found Asda come up small!

AmIThough · 15/10/2019 11:18

*always not also

avocuddl · 15/10/2019 11:18

Mothercare are the biggest sizing imo

Lunafortheloveogod · 15/10/2019 11:23

Where are they from? Primarks the worst, I’ve always had to size up for ds with them.. first time I panicked n grabbed loads of the next size from Asda n he looked like he had pinched someone else’s clothes. M&S is quite slim too, next is mid line, Tesco’s not far off next and Asda’s are like tents 😂. Matalan is quite big too.. like ds’s wardrobe at this rate. And the Spanish style stuff or posh baby as dp calls it is all small made.

Mrbumpoid · 15/10/2019 15:35

Ah okay - I don't usually put her in leggings and skirts as I mainly choose trackies. Maybe I'll try some leggings then. I don't mind rolling up the sleeves but not so much the trouser legs bc they are quite thick. John Lewis are big but I don't buy everything from there bc waste of money with how fast they grow! I got ASDA and Tesco trackies which are going to be too small in a couple of weeks.

Have a look at Blade and Rose - their leggings are really stretchy and wash well
