Can anyone advise on what's best to put a newborn in during this hot weather during the day and night?

Not sure how hot it is where you are but general rule is one more layer than you.

My DS was born during a heatwave and generally wore a short romper suit with a muslin blanket if he was out in the pram.

I used to put DD it short sleeved/legged rompers through the day and just a vest at night Smile think one night she was only in a nappy!

Thx both, it's about 27c at the min, he is in a vest and sleep suit but no blanket and seems ok. The room is quite cool.

Night mines in a nappy and a summer sleep sack. Today, just vest. The extra layer thing is for cold. Baby's overheat easily as well as get cold easily. So I would say the same or less than what your wearing when it's hot.

28 here and mine is wearing a sleepsuit and is perfect temp inside, but outside it was hotter and would of been better to have her in a long, or perhaps short sleeved vest really.
